  "To explain the title *The Leila Playa Club is based on the A7 Malaga to Marbella main rd it’s very busy and has a reputation as being an accident prone road in hi season To enter the resort you take your life in your hands as you need to drive off the A7 and into a very poorly marked entrance whil..."e avoiding a bus stop and anyone trying to exit at the same time. While watching your rear view mirror that your not going to get back eneded !!!!!! We stayed a week in May 2013 as a late deal It is plane to see the staff and manager take a great pride in their work; ALL the staff we met was pleasant and went out of their way to smile and to make eye contact A nice complex and a pleasant location to spend time out of the main holiday season but I would not consider visiting in hi season as I feel (may be unfairly) that with all the apartments in use the site would become congested with parked cars etc We used the onsite catering but only the snack menu that was very keenly pric...   "My first visit to Leila Playa but my partner and family have been coming for years. We had apartment A-20 overlooking the beach on the eastern side of the resort. With views to the sea and lots of privacy what more could we ask for? The apartment has everything you need and although is archiectur..."ally well designed it is not newly refurbished or modern. The restaurant within the resort is useful but has a basic menu and it's better to either eat at home (supermarket is within walking distance) or walk along the beach to the restaurants of Cabapino or if you have a car you can be more adventurous. The weather in April for us was mixed but we enjoyed a day in Ronda (nice drive through the mountains) and Mijas (although very touristy) and Marbella. I would certainly recommend this resort.
