Also it was perfectly clean on arrival and the cleaners don't clean Monday and Thursday. The toilet flushed perfectly and all the li..."ghts worked. We had a fantastic time here.   "If I was asked to design a small, clean, immaculately kept apartment complex with friendly, helpful staff and spotless gardens, I would probably design the Guacimeta Apartments in Matagorda, Puerto del Carmen. What a delight,a laid back atmosphere combined with clean cosy well equipped rooms, poo..."l area, large patio and sun terrace fully equipped with comfortable loungers, table and umbrellas with Reception and a small mini market at one end of the enclosed pool area and a bar/restaurant at the other everything was within easy reach. Add to that the attentive, happy staff who could not do enough to please in a genuine display of generosity; my wife and I could not have wished for a better place to relax. With a small number of staff, personal service was always available from all; the Owner, a very charming man, a receptionist who was always very helpful in hiring bikes, renting a car and calling taxis, happy cleaning ladies, hard working gardener/handyman and the cheerful bar/...   "Just returned from 1 wk stay at these lovely apts. Yes they are basic but are kept spotless by the excellent staff who cant do enough to help you enjoy your stay especially Andrea on reception who speaks excellent english and will you in anyway she can. The apts have microwave, toaster,hairdryer etc..." and towels and beds changed twice during our stay.These apts are up a slight hill but its only a 5 min walk to the front and the beach. Orient Garden takeaway at the bottom of the hill is good value for money pizza and chips only 7 euro and easily feeds two.Managed to get a table at Maratonia Resturant one evening and the food lived up to its reputation and the food is just as good for snacks in the day (just cheaper). Would recommend these apt and am already planning a refurn visit. " More >
