  "The building is fabulous, very atmospheric, stone steps, plain walls and large oak doors - it reminded me of the movies! I booked the single room, mainly due to cost, only 35 euros/night but also convenient location - walking distance from the bus/train station. I was given instructions which were ..."very helpful but It took me some a time to find as there is only a very small sign next to the door and easy to miss. The room was small, simple, spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable - it was quiet and peaceful - towels were provided. The only negative was the poor light, there was little natural light as the window opened onto an interior courtyard kind of space. I'm an artist so light is important to me and my eye sight is great either so found it quite difficult to see at times, even with the light on. The bathrooms are shared, I don't mind this, but I didn't expect 2 people in a twin room to use both bathrooms at the same time - inconsiderate when the loos are in the same roo... " More >
