  "Relaxing find in wonderful Vernazza"
  "Vernazza was the highlight of my recent trip to Italy, and Anna Maria's hotel was amazing. I was a bit worried as the reviews were a couple years old, and was unsure if the flood impacted older reviews that raved about this hotel, only a short walk up the hill from the train station. Nothing to wor..."ry about as Annamaria was so lovely and helpful. Fortunately, her place has been restored, although construction continues in the area. Our room had a balcony which was wonderful for early morning reading and nights drinking delicious local wine to recover from hiking. It was very clean, had a new bathroom, and was equipped with a very small refrigerator and hot pot. Across the street is Il Pirate which is not to be miss for delicious pastries, coffee in the morning (and great food lunch and dinner) as well as the friendly entertainment from the owners. I cannot wait to return to Vernazza and will stay with Camere Fontanvecchia again. " More >

  "My wife and I spent two days in Vernazza for our honeymoon. Although the standard La Marina Rooms were full, Cristian offered us a room right in the middle of the town plaza with amazing views of the town and harbor. Booking the room was incredibly easy and Cristian detailed exactly how to get the..."re, down to the train number, track and exact times. We got there and he was waiting for us at the station to carry our bags to the room. To get to the room there's only 1.5 flights of easy stairs and it's right in the middle of town. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious with a small kitchen too. I can't imagine a better location. It's literally right on the square. You can actually see it in all the famous post card pics of Vernazza. Also, around the corner there is direct access to the Castle. We couldn't ask for a better host.
