  "Our stay at Colettes Family B & B was as much a delight as it was a surprise. We made a reservation and were expected, but since we were new to Amsterdam in our leased car we called again for directions, and after driving around a bit, we finally found Colette. Colette greeted us warmly and immedi..."ately took charge by showing us to our room with lots of eves, (up a narrow twist of stairs) which was very clean, adequate size for us, our luggage, 3 single beds, compact bathroom, and a big window overlooking a narrow canal out of a picture book. Colette served us very tasty and ample breakfasts each morning in our room at our designated time. She’s a terrific hostess, couldn’t do enough for us, explained how to use the bus system; sights to see, which canal tour to take, and so on. Downtown Amsterdam by bus is about 10-15 minutes away. Sadly we left, not spending enough time in Amsterdam, or in Colette’s home. She is a very easy person to befriend. " More >
