There are several hides located only a few meters from a small lake and some hides are located further back to get a better view over the bog. The..." hide have all the necessary things you need to stay there all night. Its about a 15min walk from the main house to the lake. There are places for cameras and a small window to see the bears. The cameras (or lenses) can be mounted with a tripod head directly below the window in perfect eye sight. There are several openings for cameras in the larger hides so you don't miss any action. I was there in June and the it never really got that dark, but you need a camera that can handle ISO down to 3200 - 6400 during the night. I can recommend the trip to everyone.   "My husband and I joined a trip here in July and had a wonderful weekend. A nature walk on Saturday morning through the local woodlands and up to the Russian border was followed by a traditional lunch in the woods. At 5pm we were taken the short distance to the hide, this seated 10 people and was..." very hot but we soon settled down and were rewarded with amazing views of European Brown Bears and Wolverine as well as several bird species. Absolutely amazing to see them so close, although some people may disagree with food being put out to encourage them to come so close, it is a very special experience. We were in the hide till 7am, and although there were bunk beds available for people to retire to I didn't want to miss a second and stayed awake right through - the bears and wolverine kept on "popping" back.   "I stayed at this hotel for a winter activity break. The staff were all friendly and could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable. Would definitely return again. The breakfasts were excellent with an enormous choice of food. The evening meals were very varied and ample portions."
