The hotel staff were very friendly and were good at letting us leave our case behind while we checked out and went off to Helsinki for the week-end. We liked the fact that the hotel has a good restaurant with a good menu. It attracts people from the town as well as hotel guests. It helped a lot that as `1st floor' (and then 2nd floor) members we were given Euro 6 (first floor) and Euro 12 (second floor) vouchers to spend in the hotel.   "Got this hotel at a good rate. The hotel is in the center with a 3 min. work to the pedestrian street with all the shops and restaurants. The hotel had its own parking for only 10€ per day - parking is hard to find - its just behind the hotel going down a small alley.   "We stayed here for a weekend break. The hotel is large and a little tired. Our room was on the same floor as reception. It was roomy but had quite a few knocks and scrapes. The roller blinds were broken, chairs were worn and the shower curtain had had better days! One of the most irritating things w..."as the airconditioning could not be turned off! The leisure area with pools and saunas was great. The food was ok, watch out if you don't like spicy food as lot of dishes had spice but it was not mentioned in the menu.
