Room temperature was fine with efficient air conditioning. A car is essential if you wish to get out and about. Algorfa is a 5min taxi ride away, but beware, there isn't much in Algorfa. We did, however, find an excellent tapas restaurant and a friendly pub with drinks a fraction of the price in the hotel.   "We were a golf society of 8 on a golfbreaks tour. Nobody should say a bad word about this hotel since it represents the most incredible value for money. The rooms are large, clean, and bright and the buffet was brilliant. Having read Trip Advisor reviews we took a travel kettle and tea bags, ..."since the absence of these facilities in the room was the only fault. There are no catering carts etc. on the courses - so my advice is to make up a "packed lunch" from the breakfast buffet - they didn't seem to mind. We also bought our evening's supply of red wine during happy hour - so all in all we spent a lot less than we normally would, and yet the facilities were brilliant. I agree that it is isolated as a hotel, and you have to create your own atmosphere, so if you enjoy the night life you wouldn't want to say there all week - we just did 3 nights.
