  "We had booked a flight and room only for our first visit to Vienna. We took the local train as opposed to the CAT, ( City Airport Train ) which was very reasonable at 4 euro each, our hotel was at the seventh stop after the airport, which took about forty ( 40 ) mins. The station was at the back o..."f our hotel. This said, at no time during our stay did we hear the train or other noises, except the occasional guest leaving for their early departure! We were very welcomed to the hotel, (which has a pillow menu for the likes of me who has to have a feather pillow), we were given the option of having breakfast and internet facility in the room at a reduced price, however we did not take the offer. We did have some difficulty using the lifts the first time, which was then explained by reception staff and demonstrated, we had to use our room card/key to activate the lift. The surrounding buildings do not reflect the modern interior of these apartments, however, it is an area that is well serviced by supermarkets, street market only five minute walk, lovely park around the corner and tram/bus easily accessible. Und..."erground metro was ten minutes away, whilst heart of Vienna a good twenty minute walk. Excellent access to free wifi and 'safe' provided to secure valuables in the apartment. The system of accessing the key worked well. As our apartment was on the ground floor facing the street we were disturbed on several occasions by loud talking and arguments, often during the early hours of the morning. " More >

  "We stayed here for 4 nights on a city break. Hotel was very nice and breakfast good. The location was about 10 minutes walk from city centre which is fine once you have your bearings. Only a 20 minute train ride from airport with one change. Tip: don't go on the CAT (city train) as it cost..."s about 3 times as much and you still have to change. Then it's a 5 min walk from station. There is free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. Tip: buy your own milk from the supermarket and keep in fridge as they only give you 2 small pots of milk. Would recommend this hotel. " More >
