  "My husband & I just back from the Argyll Hotel in Dunoon having spent a lovely week-end. We booked into room 101 with a four poster bed, however we felt the view wasn't exactly what we expected and asked if there was any chance of moving to another room with a better view . The under manager with n..."o hesitation offered us alternatives and we ended up in the most beautiful room at the top of the hotel (the Tower Room) . This apparently is also the honeymoon suite ....... although married for 42yrs was still lovely !! I have to say the staff are superb and do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I have to give a special mention to the General Manager, Dev, who was a delight to deal with. Gordon & I have stayed in many many hotels and had many enjoyable experiences, however Dev really takes the time to make you feel special and nothing is too much trouble.... the hotel itself might be classed as 3 star but Dev certainly offers 5 star treatment !!
