His laid back attitude is exactly what is needed for this trip and rubs off on the guests, whilst still being attentive where needed. The longhouse is beautiful and comfortable enough, and incredibly cheap for the experience of staying in the jungle. One of the highlights has got to be the showers under the stars and watching the sunrise over the paddy fields.   "Fantastic environment that gave us exactly what we wanted for a Borneo trip, we planned for 2 days and ended up staying for 6! We rented all of our activity equipment and kayaked, snorkeled, rode their mountain bikes, took a tour on their motorbike, and went on a guided trek into the jungle. Amaz..."ingly beautiful beach is practically empty, save for a few friendly locals. The lodging is about a mile away from the beach, restaurant, lounge area, but there are shuttles pretty much whenever you want. The owners are very VERY hands-on and incredibly friendly and helpful.
