  "We stayed at Villa Madau for 4 nights at the end of April. The weather was poor, so the roof terrace was closed, but they let us access it and it must be great on warmer evenings. The breakfast was a surprise, as in Italy it tends to be quite basic (continental: cereals, croissants and jam, tea or c..."offee), but Villa Madau had tasty ham, boiled eggs and cheese as well, and chocolate covered cake. The staff was extremely helpful, turning up the heating only in the rooms were it was required (we had 4 rooms, some people felt warm, other wanted a higher temperature: eventually everyone was satisfied), giving advice and information, and being friendly and professional at all time. The place was very clean and well kept, and there was a lift, which helped with the luggage. Also, the bar seating area outside is very pleasant, facing the small square. No problem with noise from the outside, but that is probably because it was low season, I am sure earplugs would be a good idea in summer! " More >

  "B&B Fiore has a very good location near Pula (small city with authentic Italian atmosphere, good food) and other nice beach options on the west coast from Torre di Chia, Torre di Piscinni and Porto Pino... Next to the B&B is situated a local food store with fresh local products (vegetables, fruit, c..."heese, bread...). The property is surrounded by different trees (lemon, orange, olive, even macadamia) and has very nice rooms. We stayed in two different rooms with bathrooms and it was very clean, spacious and modern with air conditioning, refrigerator, tv, own terrace (great for breakfast, chilling, evening's wine tasting). The breakfast was one of the best we had in Sardinia. And the best of all... Fiore herself. She is such a nice person, she has a magnificent energy and was very helpful with providing us all the details for our daily trips.   "Lovely hotel, very clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful-especially the lady in the afternoons!! Lovely breakfast and very nice breakfast lady that looks after you. Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights, couldn't fault anything!"
