We went to a local pub the second night and the food was by a significant difference much better at half the price. When we returned to our room on the first night we were disturbed by other guests at approx 2am. Looking at other reviews, this is something they need to get sorted. To be fair when we phoned reception they did sort it out after the 2nd call, and actually shut the area off. Perhaps they could do this at 11pm regardless, to stop the disturbances? We asked to get moved to another room, and we were placed at the opposite end of the hotel in a fantastic room overlooking the lake ... " More >

  "Nicely furnished hotel, modern and subtle calming colours. On arrival the hotel is not a pleasing design, very grey and utilitarian looking. Inside the staff are personable, the food good quality, the geese , lakesand quietness extremely relaxing."
