  "We first came here in 2001 when our kids were in their early teens, we liked it so much that we have come back at least 8 times over the years. There have been a lot of improvements in that time and it seems it will continue to improve year on in. The evening entertainment is excellent with shows ..."that include Grease, The lion king, Cats,Mama Mia and more, ok the dialogue is in Frenc but all the songs are in English and most people know the storie's anyway. Other nights will include the most bizarre games of bingo you are likely ever to play,hosted by Mrs Doubtfire. (better known as Jean Luc, hope I've spelt his name correctly). During the day the pools in both La sirene and l'hippocampe are well attended and safe for the children. The accomadation is excellent and always clean on arrival.   "This is a nicely restored building a few hundred yards from a busy main road (D914) but with no direct access. The narrow access roads meander around crossing small fords and are in a poor state, but the hotel has a nice rural aspect and well worth the effort seeking out. We found the hotel rooms a ..."bit small and basic, but clean, comfortable and modernized with good plumbing, although we would have preferred a thermostatic mixer for the shower. They have a nice outside swimming pool in a sheltered courtyard. The real gem has to be the restaurant where they offer sophisticated fine dining with good helpful service in a rustic set of rooms with arches and exposed brickwork. This however does not come cheap so expect about £100 for two with the Plesires menu and a nice bottle of wine. We were impressed with the quality and flavors, with the care and skill in the cooking and presentation by the chef. So this is a real treat and a memorable experience, recognized by the Michelin team. " More >
