When we read the reports on Trip Advisor it said that noise from the bar was penetrating the rooms over it and I took the hint that the rooms overlooking the courtyard were quieter and booked one of those (we heard nothing whatsoever throughout our week - not even other guests). In our seven days there we used used the bar every night and when I quizzed Philippe about the noise he was emphatic that non-guests rarely patronise it. We can categorically ratify that whilst we were in the bar there was no noise.
