  "We just left Baja Joes after a 2 night stay and already want to go back! La Ventana is a tiny little town southish of La Paz, famous for its fishing and wind related sports. The communal areas in Baja Joes was awesome- huge kitchen, where everyone has their OWN fridge, big eating area on the balcony, big library to choose your next book, and some dvds/tv if you want to totally veg out. As part of staying at Joes you get unlimited use of their water equipment- They have a huggeee shed full of kite boards, wind surfers, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear and whatever else you could find!   "I hesitated writing a glowing review of Ventana Windsports... selfishly wanting to keep this gem a our secret paradise. But when I saw a bad review... I had to defend it. It's a fool who makes reservations without confirming what is included and what is extra. My husband, myself and many friends..." have been coming here for about 12 years. It is an awesome place... all the way around! We come for the windsurfing, and we get new or near new equipment; have a friendly, knowledgeable guy to rig our gear and advise what to take for any given day. The launch is friendly... the location safe. After sailing there is a large hot tub to heal sore muscles and chat with the other guests. Meals are fabulous! It's healthy food that's made fresh daily. The staff is friendly, polite and will assist you with whatever you need. The rooms are cleaned daily and most have a beautiful view.
