The rooms are smallish, but doable for 2 people. Our bed was a double, but put against the wall, therefore a bit hard to get in and out of during the night for bathroom trips. If you detect a theme here: yes, bathrooms are important to senior travellers:( the place is always spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfasts outstanding. We lke the 'ambiance' of the place, its location at the Eier Markt and reasonable prices.   "Went there on business. It is a favourite hotel for colleagues visiting our site in the city. Location superb. The look of the hotel while not over inspiring was efficient and business like as befits a German hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean and functional. The only real gripe with the room ..."was no tea and coffee making facilities. But maybee that is not something Germans expect. The food was excellent. Epensive but good value. Service un-hurried and efficient. Got the standard breakfast buffet but it was more than adequate. I tried the local Crucenia Thermen. I can thoroughly recommend the salt water warm pool. Very relaxing and great for the old aches and pains. There are any number of facilities in the area. Expensive but worth treating yourself. Next time I come, I will book this hotel. However, this hotel is still a good business place to stay. A few little conveniences that you take for granted seem to be missing - eg you have to ask for an iron and ironing board, rather than there being one automatically in the room. Also, there is no bedside clock...now these might sem like small things but these are the conveniences any international business person relies on..i.e .press some shirts after being in a suitcase, or waking up in the middle of the night in a different timezone and being able to glance at the time rather than scramble for your phone etc. But on the positive side of this hotel...it is clean, com...
