There are restaurants nearby but Marie's cooking is very, very good...she uses a lot of fresh local products - and in the land of Calvados and Camembert, you can't go wrong :) English is comfortably and kindly spoken...and Francois is full of facts and tidbits about the area - his family has been there for generations.   "The weather in Normandy was unusually cold but Marie and Francois' welcome was very warm. Les Divettes is a lovely B&B. Home made bread, brioche, jams and jellies is a great way to start the day. The rooms are very nice, impeccably clean. The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom - great ..."for a family traveling with children. I did not take advantage of the table d'hote, but know that Marie was headed down to the port to buy fresh fish for another couple with children who were staying for dinner. They said that she is a fabulous cook and really enjoyed the lovely dinner she prepared on their first night. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely go back. " More >
