Watch your ankles first thing in the morning, near the rocks on the water edge, as there are lots of baby morays that make you jump ! I do think they are as wary of us tho, as we are of them.   "We have just got back from Villamendhoo arriving home mid May 2013 and thought would share our experiance on Trip Advisor. Arriving in Male you are whisked off to the Seaplane terminal where Villamendhoo has its own Private lounge, help yourself to drinks whilst the seaplane is readied. We were luck..."y enough to have our luggage come with us which is not always the case and didnt have to wait long before the short flight to Villamendhoo. Check in was quite straight forward as some of the form filling was done at the seaplane terminal to save time, we were given the Water bungalow requested by email a few weeks prior to arrival, room number 329 which is right at the end of the jetty and is the best room for privacy as not over looked by any other rooms and for the sun-set views (Room 330 would also be perfect).   "Excellent place. We had a a Beach villa with Jacuzzi as we wanted to be on the beach, Did not want the jacuzzi but these villa's are in the adult only part of the island and are also much bigger. The house reef is pretty good as you only have to fin out about 20 feet, lots of coral,fish and rays a..."nd little black tip sharks.. Diving also good, you can shore or boat dive. The restaurant was very good with great selection of food. All the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The only complaint was that the internet was very expensive around $100 per week.
