  "I have to agree wholeheartedly with the other reviewers. This B&B is a jewel. The cottage is a picturesque, grade II listed building. The guest and bathrooms are top-notch, modern and super clean. We loved the breakfast (!) which exceeded expectations. You can tell that the landlady goes the extr..."a-mile in quality of food and preparation. A wide variety of different cereals, freshly cut fruit and juices was on offer, buffet style plus a freshly prepared breakfast dish to choose from. We chose salmon with scrambled eggs. The B&B is ideally located to explore Bakewell (c.5min walk town centre, tourist information, co-op, restaurants and bus stop) and to take hikes in the area. The Monsal trails starts around the corner. Bus #170 runs hourly to Baslow on the weekends where we went for a 5h hike along "the Edge”.
