After the meal we went to the cellar bar for a drink it was busy and there was a good atmosphere.   "Beautiful location set in acres of land. Hotel very busy catered for all ages. Spent 2 nights in this hotel, felt very relaxed and looked after. Main lobby spacious seemed to have very efficient staff on the main desk, disappointed with their customer service very clinical. Bedrooms very modern but ..."need a bigger tv, window view was great looking over fields, this also meant that walkers from the hotel completing planned walks could see into my room!!! Need to invest in some sort of net curtain! Food not great very bland! Got a club sandwich this determined where I ate during the rest of my stay! Don't mind paying through the nose if its good! We had helium balloons to recognise one of our party's birthday (30th) hotel failed to notice this!! Yet in the local Chinese restaurant they played happy birthday and brought him a cake with a candle. Bath robes a little well worn to be walking about hotel. Walking paths need to be stoned!
