Professional, friendly & clearly great at her job. This really put both our minds at ease, as we knew our wedding was in safe hands. On the wedding day itself, Kate (master of ceremonies) was equally helpful & again made sure everything went smoothly, despite timings over running somewhat. The food served for our wedding breakfast was lovely, although the Pork is rather large portions! So for those with less of an appetite, maybe worth choosing an alternative.   "Stayed at New Place prior to a cruise from Southampton. We found the hotel to be superb. Love the chalet style rooms, clean and comfortable. Our booking included dinner and this was one of the best meals we have had the pleasure of eating.   "Fabulous house and setting but the room was a little pokey and dark"
  "We spent five nights at De Vere New Place, the house and grounds are stunning, unfortunately the room we were allocated was in one of the older cabin blocks and was a little tight on space and a bit dark. Being from Australia we are used to bright and light, so it was a little depressing for us. Unf..."ortunately we were staying over a bank holiday weekend and so the hotel was very heavily booked and we were unable to be relocated, which they would have been more than happy to do had rooms been available. The restaurant was very good, offering an excellent buffet style breakfast and a good a la carte dinner menu in the evenings. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would certainly stay again as it was so handy for business we had to do locally. Next time as we now know the place we would request a room that suits us better. " More >
