  "I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. It is probably the best in Darwin but the city still lacks an outstanding five star property. My room was large, clean, comfortable, well furnished and well equipped. The air conditioning worked well. There was a terrific view of the ha..."rbour. The carpet, however, was nearing the end of its life, the windows needed cleaning, the television reception was poor when I watched the ABC news, the television screen was a bit too large for the size of the room, and the bath lacked a plug. These are all problems that are easily remedied when refurbishment occurs under the new Hilton management. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent.
