Friendly personnel The "ghost elevator" is a weird experience, but kind of neat (you chose your destination outside the elevator, not inside the elevator). Very good rate (100-110 AUD) Room for improvement, but no dealbreakers: 2% credit card charge for booking.com customers, not for customers on the meriton site according to staff. Rooms are pleasant, bed very comfortable and ample parking outside the property which is free. There is also a lovely verandah outside, where you can sit and see the skyline of Brisbane. It is confusing when you arrive as the front door is just open and it's pretty much a self check in process- your names and room number are listed on a piece of paper pinned to the notice board, and the room key is inside the room.
