  "As soon add you arrive at Hamilton island and board the hayman boat you are treated like a VIP. Multiple glasses of sparkling wine, canapes and chocolates. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the service is very good. As this was part of our honeymoon we received 3 free bottles of wine..." over our stay. On our first night we had the twilight dining on the beach, which ess excellent. The food was incredible, Sat under the stars (so many more than we can see in the UK) surrounded by wildlife. The resort was very quiet and the weather was good. We had a pool access room that was big, comfy but a little tired. Although the food and drinks are good we found it very expensive. Australia is expensive if you are a Brit but at Hayman it was taken to another level. Although I suppose at a 5 star island resort, it should be expected. We also did some snorkelling and did a Bush walk. The location on the great barrier reef is just stunning and it was a very relaxing brea... " More >

The staff can't do enough for you but are friendly and polite without being stuffy or intrusive. The room was heaven with a great view out to the ocean and the restaurants were good value. I was actually surprised at how affordable it was. Being an island I was definitely expecting food and drink costs to be higher than they actually were. I can't recommend Hayman enough. Great for couples and families alike or even if, like me, you just want to switch off from the world for a few days. " More >
