  "We stayed here in February 2013 as part of our trip around NZ. We chose this motel based on a poor review and subsequent humorous response from the owner, it turned out to be an excellent choice. The staff were superb, really helpful and friendly, and they were kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger ..."room at no extra charge. The room we were given was huge with its own sitting area in which we could chill out. That said we had a peek at the other rooms and they were just as nice. Location wise the motel isn't right in the centre of town but Greymouth isn't huge and its only really a 2 minute drive by car and you're there. It is conveniently located near a supermarket and bottle shop as well as a pizza takeout (can't remember which brand) which made getting dinner super easy. If you're visiting Greymouth I would definitely recommend staying here and we'd happily return in the future. " More >
