Although the airport is located out of town, we took the airport bus into the city and did the usual sight-seeing. This mainly involved shopping and taking ferry trips around the harbour. The only problems we had with the rooms concerned the bathroom. The bath is very deep, meaning you have to step over this to get in and have a shower. If you arrive to NZ late night after long and exhausting flight the last thing you want to do is to spend another half an hour in traffic. Friendly staff and great rooms - big, clean and modern. Big and comfortable bed is very much apprecia..."ted as well. Easy and quick check out. - A bit noisy at night, due to people checking in\out 24h dragging their luggage along the hallway. Thicker room doors or better sound isolation would sort it out. Too complicated access to WIFI - my room rate has WIFI included, man at the reception told me to open a browser and just follow the instructions, when I got to my room, and tried to connect to WIFI the only option I've been offered by website is to chose the internet plan I want to pay for. Nothing about my prepaid key for WIFI! It was too late and I was too tired to call to receptionist to get it sorted, so I chose to miss my skyping to family. Very disappointed about it! " More >
