Highlights were water-sports on the local lake, bike riding through the Ria Formosa wildlife reserve, walking for miles down the golden beaches of the algarve coastline and a trip to the Cliff Richard Vineyard for a superb wine tasting session. A night out in an authentic Portuguese restaurant with newly made friends was spectacular - Coverts, Black Pork, Baby Squids, etc, washed down with copious amounts of wine/beer and firewater!
