  "I have chosen this hotel based its location - straight on the beach, facing park from back side and very close to Sopot center (ca 500 m). It was great decision. It is 2 years old hotel with some educational functions for local society but it doesn't disturb the guests. Hotel is pretty small (more ..."like boutique hotel). It is simple building with minimalistic forms covered with white pine. Interior is also very simple but full of light. I have been staying in room facing sea and having nice terrace on 2nd floor. Very pleasant to stay on terrace especially that is 'hanging" over the beach. In the morning I have been awaken by sun shining straight into my bedroom. Rooms have big windows with great view over sea. I have fantastic morning coffee outside on terrace overlooking beach, seeing Hel and Gdansk shipyard at horizon.   "On our recent trip to Sopot/Gdansk we elected to stay at Haffner and came away with a mostly positive experience. The hotel is in a nice location, almost a neighborhood type of surrounding, with good proximity to the city center and coast. We were pleased with the size of room, cleanliness and g..."eneral attributes of the hotel. The staff was incredibly attentive and we came away with a mostly positive experience. The only downside of our stay was an "act of God" and a pipe bursting outside of our two rooms. This necessitated a move to different, smaller, rooms on the street side of the hotel (which is incredibly noisy with the windows open). We were comped parking and breakfast due to the inconvenience. Upon our return to this region, we would stay at Haffner and can recommend it to young adults and families alike. " More >
