  "If you want to stay in a gorgeous, modern hotel with historic charm, this is a great spot. The rooms are spacious (mine even had a heated bathroom floor a - huge perk in the winter) with high ceilings and lots of light. The service at the front desk was top notch, and the food (at least the breakfas..."t spread) really good. It's located in the Manufactura district - a completely gentrified, trendy shopping and arts center in the nicest part of Lodz. The hotel itself was converted from one of the largest factories in the city, and it feels like a spot that would fit right in in a Brooklyn neighborhood such as Williamsburg (granted, in Brooklyn, it would be quadruple the price). I'd have loved the hotel on its own merits, but it also happened to be a great value when we went, and I'd return in a heartbeat or would stay at other Andel properties if I ever get the chance.
