  "Recently had a four day stay in one of the efficiencies at the Sea Isle Motel. It was just about perfect. The owners were friendly, helpful and on site if you needed anything. The biggest decision of the day was whether to lay by the pool or take the short walk to the beach. The unit I stayed in ..."was bright, cozy and comfortable. For someone with a bad back, it was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The bathroom was small, but the shower was hot and good water pressure ~ one of my other criteria that I judge a hotel/motel by. If you don't want to eat at one of the great restaurants out on the island, the unit had a kitchen that would be adequate if you wanted to cook yourself a meal, there's also a gas grill available for the use of the guests ~ my only suggestion would be to provide some additional cooking equipment/utensils and kitchen equipment, thought what they do have there would be adequate with a little ingenuity.   "We are a married couple from the UK and have to date stayed on Sanibel, Captiva, Useppa, Boca Grande and now Anna Maria. Out of all the places we have stayed this is our favourite and is a great place to stay in a superb location. Very relaxing atmosphere and the units have everything you could need..." to enjoy your stay. Pool extremely nice and the green planting around the place really adds to the relaxed island feel. Its nothing of a walk to the very nice beach, and just around the corner is the stop for the free trolley bus stop plus only a 10 minute walk to the Rod & Reel bar on the small fishing pier which was our favourite "locals place" (don't mistake the small private pier for the larger City owned fishing pier) I can't recommend this place highly enough if you want a truly Gulf Coast Island experience.
