When we arrived at the hotel, we were amazed at how nice it was. It was L400 (a little less than US$20) for a simple double with a fan, a very nice bed, hot water, and cable. The lobby and the rest of the interior was beautifully designed. They even had an elevator and a decent sized pool. I haven't stayed in a hotel in Central America that was nicer than this one without paying at least $50. I really have no idea why the hotel has gotten such poor reviews. If you're like us and typically look for doubles in the $15 to $25 range, you won't find a nicer one in Central America. " More >
