Both times we stayed towards the back of the hotel, which was fairly quiet. The staff were very frie..."ndly and welcomed us back. The restaurant food was simple but good...servings were quite large. The restaurant was open until 11 pm which was very handy for us. We're still waiting for the pool to be completed....perhaps next time. Management kept checking if all was ok and offered to change our rooms if we weren't happy. WiFi reception was good. The hotel is very safe and we've had a very comfortable, pleasant stay on both occasions. Will probably stay there again in the future " More >

  "Great Hotel, Excellent Staff!"
  "Just stayed at the Royal Grand last week. I was originally booked into the old Royal Hotel by mistake (my staff), and since I had been travelling for two days I didn't want to switch that night. I went to the new hotel, Royal Grand, across the parking lot and asked the desk staff, Gloria and Evelyn(..."?), if they could book me the rest of the week at this hotel. They immediately took my information and told me it would not be a problem. They introduced me to the Manager 'Joe' who right away said it would not be a problem and gave one of the desk girls a room key to show me the rooms and give me a tour of the hotel. When the tour was over I had a reservation for the following day and the remainder of the week. The price was higher than the old hotel, obviously, but was within my budget. The desk girls greeted me daily, and even called to check on me if they had not seen me enter the hotel, as did the General Manager Wael and the Manager Joe every time they saw me.
