The quality of the food is very good and the choice of wine was better than in a much more expensive hotel. The area is quiet and there are very close by and convenient services such as a supermarket and a reasonable gym within walking distance. There is a swimming pool in the middle of the bar and restaurant area, but it's also worth knowing there's another, more private, swimming pool in the additional site across the road. They accept payment in Euros and CFA, but advise against paying in USD due to having to offer a poor exchange rate. This is worth knowing in advance, as having been quoted a price in USD, I changed Euros into USD before going, necessitating far too many currency exchanges.   "This was my second time staying at the hotel and the experience was far better than the first time. This may be due to the fact I stayed longer this time and got to really use the hotels facilities but one thing that remained constant was the inconsistency of friendly and helpful staff. The receptio..."n and porter team were very friendly and helpful but the bar area and pool area not so much. They would huddle at one end of the bar and just talk and not offer any service. The rooms are fine. They're spacious, tiled (which is great for the hot weather) reasonably clean and the Internet can be strong at times. The in room Internet is patchy at the best of times, it's ok for general browsing but is a real pain when trying to use it with Skype. I've not sampled much of the food but I've managed to find a good meal for lunch and dinner, it's the steak sandwich (which is actually steak on 3 little burgers) Drinks are fairly expensive but there's no other option and they only provide complim...
