  "For Georgetown this is a nice spot. Colonial building, staff friendly, rooms well appointed. A/C worked. Open concept so found it a bit noisy at night (late check-ins, frogs, dogs...). Restaurant not very good. So far the nicest place I have stayed while in Georgetown. Needs a fitness centre."

  "The staff work hard to make your stay pleasant. Hotel is a lovely old wooden structure built around a covered patio. Great place for an afternoon drink or impromptu meeting. Restaurant is pleasant with good service & pretty good food. I think most of the food is imported as frozen cutlets, etc...". Rooms are spacious with a/c, comfy bed, ok bathroom. I would urge the manager to install smoke detectors since the bldg is all wood. But I didn't see any obvious safety hazards. Biggest plus is the charm. " More >
