  "Beautiful beach. It was high tide when we visited, but I'm told that you can walk across (or take a boat) to the small island/mosque facing the resort. I'm a (white, female) American, and I felt very safe, especially since we went on a very quiet Thursday. I'm told that the place is packed on Friday..."s. I would say that I didn't feel particularly comfortable wearing just my swimsuit, so I stayed in my long dress (with my hair covered).
