I want to say that there isn't any particular experience that stands out only because the entire stay stands out with all its particular experiences --- from the exquisite food to the excellent hospitality to the inviting atmosphere to the beautiful house and comfortable rooms.   "We are repeat customers who stayed here one night recently while visiting family. This stylish little hotel is a great choice in Asbury Park. From the outside it's unassuming, but the minute you step up onto the porch you realize it's actually a hip little boutique hotel. The rooms are simply decorated in a pared down style, a welcome respite from typical hotel or B&B rooms, and the bed was very comfortable. Stylish bathroom, too. We stayed midweek in April, off-season, and the hotel was quiet. But the bar area in the lobby is fun and lively. I like that they feature original art in the lobby. The complimentary breakfast buffet is a terrific touch, and the breakfast was absolutely perfect: good coffee, Greek yogurt, granola, blueberries, clementines, tasty miniature pastries, and juice.   "I was definitely frightened by the other reviews that I had read.... I am guessing they were not recent. Our room was quite lovely.... large and had great linens. We were provided an upgrade because of low occupancy (We were there on a Sunday and Monday). Our rates were reasonable and it was VER..."Y quiet.... no construction noises as had been mentioned by an earlier review. One should know that Asbury Park is undergoing LOTS of clean up, both from Hurricane Sandy and from just the revitalization that was needed after years of decline. Parking was easy with meters out front (We opted not to used the $20 parking lot because we were going to be around the area with relatives) Free would have been better, but no fee was required from midnight until 9 so we only spent a total of about $10 for the 2 nights. Daily metered parking was $10 so that is reasonable too. " More >
