We tried a day trip to similan operated by fantastic Similan, which was quite nice, 2000b per person Also joined a cycling tour to local market organized by the resort, very interesting experience. Local food at the market is so different from what the hotel offer, nice try. The cycling journey itself is peaceful and relaxing, can see the local views which you might not have the chance to see if you go by car.   "Better than expected"
  "We spent 9 nights here at the start of May and loved every minute. We virtually had the place to ourselves. Check in was quick and efficient. we had a pool view bungalow and it was a really good size, big bed, big fridge, nice bathroom and a good a/c unit. The mozzies in the room were problematic bu..."t we eventually found some spray and just kept spraying the room each day after the room had been cleaned. The pool area was lovely, good sized pool, although don't know what it would feel like with more than 2 or 3 in it. It's very shaded with lots of trees etc but there was a few sunny spots if you so wanted. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly. The location was good being so close to the beach and really easy to walk into the centre of Bang Niang. We'd be very happy to stay here again. " More >

  "As seasoned travellers, we were very pleasantly surprised with this resort in all aspects of what should be provided by the surroundings and staff at this lovely location. We stayed in a Deluxe Oasis Room King and were very impressed with the size, the bed was very comfortable, quite funny when we ..."arrived, we were taken to our room and told "we have a surprise", the lady was very excited to bring us to our room, our bed had a heart made with rose pedals, and "Happy Honeymoon" in rose pedals and our bath filled up with rose pedals in too, my Husband had to advise the lady we have been married for 24 years and not on our Honeymoon! (It was a lovely thought though) also our room was very quiet as we were on the top level at the end. My Husband and I spent 10 days at this resort away from our 4 children, the restaurants along the beach are worth visiting, the pool bar and happy hour were a huge hit for us, meeting lots of people (mainly Aussies) The staff around the resort were very frie...
