  "We stayed here for three nights and had a great time. After a disappointing check in, we found the rest of the staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. A particular mention must go to Feras who always had a smile and a warm greeting. He also gave us excellent directions. Breakfast was excel..."lent, the choice was superb and everything was well presented. We ate twice at the buffet, which we thought was fantastic, the food was varied and tasty. We also ate at Trader Vics but found this disappointing, it was expensive and the menu limited. We had a family room, which was plenty big enough for 2 adults and a 9 and 10 year old. The bathroom was also a good size. Everything was clean and well maintained. The pool area was busy but there were plenty of sunbeds.   "I have been staying just for one night and had a great experience. The hotel makes good impression, with a nice coffee shop in the middle area inside. On arrival I had a warm welcome with traditional coffee and dates! As well I got a huge complimentary fruit plate, what was a surprise for me and a n..."ice touch from the hotel! The Staff was very attentive, extremely friendly and helpful. It is a nice Hotel, with a range of facilities for everyone – restaurants, bars and etc. There are plenty activities for families with children at the pool area, as well the separate lap pool for the swimmers. The rooms are newly refurbished, nice and clean. And if you don’t have free Wi-Fi in the room, it is not an issue, because there is a complimentary Wi-Fi available in the Makani Cafe. The location of this hotel was very good when it comes to visiting many of the tourist attractions in the city - an oasis, Al Ain Palace and many more.   "Rain in the desert - never! WRONG!!! Rained on and off all weekend and on the way back to Abu Dhabi - torrential rain. However, in the middle of this (apparently) unusual weather there was indeed an Oasis of brightness - the Danat Al Ain Resort. Decor maybe a little tired in places, not shab..."by by any means, just showing its age a bit in places. But, comfortable? Oh yes - very! Stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was just home from home, spacious, comfortable, well equipped and had a choice of two small balconies from which to enjoy the rain. We ate in a couple of the restaurants and were very taken with the quality, quantity and variety of the food, breakfast was an absolute feast. Now we come to the real highlight of our stay, the staff at the Danat. They could not have been more helpful of attentive. From check in to check out we were looked after like royalty.
