  "I was travelling around in Jordan. Our last stay during the one week holidays was the Arab Divers Village. The reason for going to Aqaba was to enjoy the fabulous Red Sea. I have never dived before, so we decided to go there just for snorkeling. The accommodation was the cleanest we had in Jordan. ..."The staff was really friendly and helpful. Especially Obada, he welcomed me with a handshake and told me interesting things about the Red Sea. We rented some equipment and we went to the beach for snorkeling. First we were a bit disappointed because beach was dirty, but as we went into the sea, we could see the real beauty! I also booked a trial dive to make some first experience with diving. I will never forget the experiences! It was absolutely great and I don't regret to do this. Lee our diving guid was really patient and he spent a lot of time explaining me all the important things. It has a great location at the northern end of the strip wit..."h a great private beach that has a massive cordoned off section of red sea. The swimming pools are fantastic too. A nice touch is when you pick up a towel and they give you a little cool box with ice and two bottles of water. It's a short walk to the centre of aqaba where a decently priced local meal can be had as opposed to the rather expensive restaurants in the resort. Their gym is set around an atrium with excellent equipment and free refreshments. If you want to treat yourself, and can afford it, then this has to be the place to stay. My only qualm is that big hotel chains like this, tend to lose that personal touch. " More >
