The island was fantastic and the rooms were just what was needed with a small pool and sea views you could not ask for more, we used all the facilities, spa, water sports, bars and restaurant and the staff were great and they know what you wanted and they had great knowledge very customer facing with good service training. We will definitely return and I would like to stay at more of the Banyan Tree resorts in the future as I like there ethics when it comes to social responsibility, we are even considering joining the Banyan Tree membership which does seem interesting, well done and thanks for a great holiday.   "We stayed with our 11 month old baby at the Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru at the beginning of December 2012. The weather was beautiful at this time of the year. The hotel is only around 20 minute from the airport with the boat. As we travelled with our baby we didn’t have to worry about baggage allowan..."ces which apply to the sea plane. Stroller, baby food, toys -all with us! We had a warm welcome, took our shoes off and walked to our villa. We loved the room (Beachfront pool villa). The layout is quite strange in order to accommodate privacy. The pool (filled with sea water) is located in a completely private area and has an adjacent hot tub –Bliss! From the bedroom there is direct beach view and just outside there is a huge patio with low and high tables and loungers. We were very pleased with the food, -although there is not much choice- the fish is fresh and the meat choices are very decent. Go for a full board option as there is no other place to eat on the island! Ever... " More >

  "If you are looking for a very nice hotel in Maldives where you could be a Robinson Crusoe.... go to Vabbinfaru. Staff, services and food are excellent. We stay 10 days in the hotel with his wonderful Spa, Banyan Tree has the best massage in the world for sure The snorkling is amazing with ray, shark...", turtles and many others fish with multi colors. There is nothing more to say than "book your flight and your bedroom to Vabbinfaru" If you like kite surf it is enough windy to practice also but come with your gears. Book your massage before you arrive in the hotel and ask "Winnie" she is excellent for normal massage and for pregnant woman. we had one day raining during our stay (end of april beginning of may) Good vacations Best G " More >
