  "I've been to the Maldives before, but this island I really liked. Everything was renovated in 2009 and the villas are just lovely. It is about 45mins by speed boat from the airport and when you get onboard you are immediately given a bottle of water which always comes in handy after a flight. Rooms ..."are very pretty, bathrooms have an outside shower which is great fun. Illy coffee at your disposal in the room was very appreciated. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Susana from sales was always on hand and Shaheed from activities centre organised a great snorkelling trip for us - and did try his best to avoid the monsoon shower which was great experience. Food was very good, too. I stayed in a duplex villa which I highly recommend, downstairs area of the villa is great and has yet another shower. Rooms also feature ipod docks, lovely bathrobes, flip-flops...First I was given a villa on the swimming side of the island - very close to the beach (but on Kandooma everything is close), ...   "I and my wife went to Male on 14th May'2013 for 5 nights and stayed in Beach View Villa. The welcome was awesome, as there were welcome drinks and on leaf our names were written. The room we chose was Beach Villa. It was single storied, with room on the top and machaan , chairs, tables on the ground..." floor. It also had a open shower area in the ground floor to enjoy. The room had a lavish bed. It has everything you want. There were six complimentary oranges for the guest. The room had juicer so can enjoy your orange juice. The bathroom was beautifully built. The shower area was complete open from the top and and side walls were upto 4-5feet high. The main feature was that when u bath , you feel the taste of the nature , with the winds blowing, the waves roaring.......awesome. The shower gel had eucalyptus oil so it gave a nice feeling during the bath and even relaxed your body later. I had pleasure enjoying my food , even I am vegetarian.
