We selected Suite #10, which sits all by itself on a corner of the expansive grounds and I am so glad we paid the little bit extra for that room. My favorite was blackberry! Take time to enjoy the grounds, but most certainly take a horseback ride up the mountain. It has been too many decades since I last rode (although my wife is accomplished rider) but it was an amazing 2-hour ride up the mountain, passing through several small villages and a wonderful eucalyptus forest. Oh, don't expect something new as this hacienda dates back to 1602! There is no tv, but you can rent movies to enjoy in their lovely library. Good WiFi in the library and at the recepcion. " More >

  "Very secure. Right in the middle of the city. Beautiful courtyard. Wooden floor boards a bit creaky. Fantastic water pressure in shower. Plenty of hot water. Basic room. Restaurant attached which had good food. Helpful staff. Noisy doorbell that could be heard throughout at all hours."
