  "What a pleasant surprise!"
  "We visited Vila Mina as a group of 18 people in mid May 2013. I must say that I hoped it would be a nice place to spend a couple of days away from Sofia, but it turned out to be much more than expected. The owners have expanded the pool and now it has a deeper part (for the adults) and a shallow ..."part (for children). The edge of the pool draws an infinity line with the lake behind it. The rooms are big and comfortable. I must say the decoration is awesome - pink, red, orange, green - such lively colors. The staff were always ready to help. As we used the barbeque in the evenings, forks, knifes, plates...everything was at our disposal. We will most definitely return to Vila Mina for our next trip to Ohrid :) " More >

  "This is one of the best locations in the Old Town, right next door to a little chapel that the keeper of the keys in House No. 9 will unlock for you if you ask. We reserved a balcony room with Lake View and couldn't have been happier with the location, the room, the breakfast and the friendly staff...." The complimentary bottle of wine left in our room (the owner is a winemaker) was a nice touch. So was the idea of offering a different breakfast each day made up of traditional Ohrid foods. Great value for the price. Ohrid apparently gets pretty crowded during the season, but we were there in mid-May and all was quiet. Very nice and relaxing place to visit. " More >
