  "Loved this hotel. Natural furnishings - doesn't "look" like a hotel. Comfortable beds - though they could use an extra blanket for the cold January nights!. Make sure that you confirm that you will be eating meals at the hotel each day - or they won't prepare anything for you. (And they forgot on..."ce even after I had confirmed) Nice rooftop viewing, eating, drinking area. They only suggestion that I would have for the hotel is to keep the vendors.... wanna-be guides.... (friends of the desk clerk?) out of the small lobby. Get's very annoying when they are hitting you up for something everytime you pass by. Also wondered about security with them hanging around my room. There was no security to be seen at the hotel at all. " More >

  "La Maison not only has lovely rooms but it has a roof top lounge and restaurant that should not be missed. The chef at the time of our visit was truly inspired. Rooms were comfortable, staff was friendly. This is an excellent choice."

  "...and it was fine. Secure...we stayed there right after the kidnappings.... no hassles, big, clean simple rooms with hot running water. The management was on top of it, promptly came and killed a spider in our bathroom when we fetched him from the front office.
