  "My Father and I went to Rio Parismina Lodge a couple of weeks ago. Our plans were altered due to President Obama being in San Jose. All small planes were grounded. Not to worry the lodge had a van waiting for us and we took the long (and scenic) drive close to the lodge. A quick boar ride and we wer..."e there. We were me at the dock by Judy (owner) and Fernando (manager). They apologized for the inconvenience but it was no big deal. It just meant that we got to be fishing earlier the next day. Fishing reports were off since the group that was at the lodge had a slow pick of tarpon the previous week. Over a 4 day tournament the winner boated 8 tarpon. We hit the water at 6AM the next day and 2 minutes later saw tarpon busting the surface at the river mouth. We didn't hook one, but caught 3 jacks in the mayhem. Our guide Gabriel was outstanding.
