Some reviews I had seen online made this hotel sound like a poorly-maintained property with disinterested staff, so we had planned to stay at an historic hotel in Bisbee, half an hour away. But after dinner at a Denny's across the ..."street, we decided to check out the Best Western. Its lobby was clean & the staff was friendly, so we decided to stay. Our room was large, clean & well-maintained--typical of a good Best Western. Breakfast was served early enough to get a good meal before the conference. You can..." enjoy a beautiful lobby with incredible stained-glass windows and skylights, a gorgeous marble staircase, a beautiful tile mural in the restaurant, and display cases full of historic photos and documents on the second floor balcony. It even has a cool old manually-operated elevator. We got one of the rooms with a jacuzzi, and found the bed much more comfortable than the average hotel bed. Everything was very clean. The food in the attached restaurant was fabulous, and we found the staff to be cheerful, extremely helpful, and quick to offer advice about the area and history of the hotel. " More >
