  "My room opened out onto a wide terrace at the back, overlooking gardens and the Orange River. Tea and coffee were provided, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. I was with a small tour group, and we occupied all 4 downstairs rooms overlooking the river. In the evening we had a braai while wa..."tching the light fade. The only disadvantage was that these downstairs rooms get all the noise from reception, just across the passage. Perhaps the staff could be a little quieter late at night and early in the morning.
