  "We arrived here due to the National Bus Drivers stop work, the staff were very friendly & can speak very good english, which is nice if your spanish isnt the best. Unfortunately we were allocated the front room which had a double bed & two singles, it was noisy from the road noise & late night revel..."lers, also if anyone rings the door bell during the night it is very loud in the room and reception is just outside this rooms door so it tends to be noisy...avoid this one if you can. The bathrooms are off the main common area at the rear. There is a kitchen but cooking utensils are basic. Breakfast is reasonable. The building is 101 years old and is well maintained. The hotel is beautiful. Don't let the main road it's on put you off. To begin with it's set back from the road (there's no noise) and in any case the minute you walk in everything is lovely. Whoever designed this did so with real attention to detail, and the staff are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble, and they actually speak English which is surprisingly rare in Argentina where most people (despite the Italian/English/French/German/Polish antecedents of many) only speak Spanish.
