The staff were fantastic and provided excellent service; even sending us tourist and bus information ahead of our stay. And because our travel was delayed they were very helpful in making calls and assisting us to follow-up. Beautiful old estancia with a wrap around veranda with comfy chairs scattered around, tropical gardens to stroll in and acres and acres of land to explore if ..."you could tear yourself away from the house. The room we stayed in was beautiful - fantastic high ceiling with beams, huge bed, open fire place and a window looking out over the garden. Went horse riding both days and although completly novices we were made to feel very safe and comfortable by Carlos, the resident gaucho, and the rides through the estancias land is beautiful. The staff running the place are lovely - an English speaking manager who was charming and was also around for assistance or a chat, a spectacular chef who cooked the most wonderful meals, and some other very friendly Spanish people.
